As a StoryCorps facilitator, I’ve recorded 200+ oral history conversations across the United States to archive in the Library of Congress and broadcast on NPR. From Barco de Papel, the only Spanish-language book shop surviving in NYC, to Nike World Headquarters in Oregon, I’ve had the privilege of facilitating and developing a wide range of recording partnerships in English and Spanish.
This page highlights three partnerships: The New York Transit Museum, City of San Diego, and Innocence Project. All photos are my own unless otherwise noted.

New York Transit Museum
Every day, millions of New Yorkers ride public transportation in a system that’s sustained by more than 70,000 workers, many of whom have decades of expertise. In 2025, I developed a partnership with the New York Transit Museum to preserve some of those voices—the people who have built, operated, photographed, mapped, and curated New York City’s mass transit system.
These conversations were recorded inside a 1916 Low V trailer car at the New York Transit Museum, a setting from which these men could speak, quite literally, from inside the history they help conduct and preserve.

City of San Diego
I AM SAN DIEGO is a project developed by the City of San Diego and StoryCorps Studios that invited locals to share their stories in 2024. Below you can listen to some of the conversations I facilitated and co-produced for NPR.

Innocence Project
Through StoryCorps Studio’s partnership with the Innocence Project, I facilitated conversations between exonerees and the people who stood by them. This collection was created to educate current and future generations about the causes and impacts of wrongful convictions.
