Hello! My name is Alan and I'm a multimedia journalist based in New York City with roots spread across DC, Mexico City, and Philadelphia. While in college I co-created Generation Pandemic, an oral history archive focused on COVID's impacts on young adults in America. Today I work at StoryCorps, where I record conversations all around the country to archive in the Library of Congress. My work has been featured in The Washington Post, NPR, and shows like Planet Money, The Pulse, and Kitchen Sisters Present. I also create digital content for PBS series Pati's Mexican Table, La Frontera, and others.
